Distant Drummer is an IOR one ton designed by Doug Peterson in 1976. She is a further development of the 1974 World Champion “Ganbare”.  

Distant Drummer was Jespersen's first cold molded hull and has always been finished bright.  Aggressively raced by a crack crew, Distant Drummer has won most of the major events in the Pacific Northwest.

With teak decks and finely-finished interior, she is a pleasing cruiser.
